Who is TATUUM?

If you’ve ever been shopping in Warsaw, or any other major city in Poland, you’ve probably come across a TATUUM store. After all, the brand has been an established player in the market for more than 25 years, currently counting over 120 physical store locations. Building on the success in their home market, the brand decided to expand. First in the offline realm, opening stores in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Next, in the online sphere, they expanded their own e-commerce and finally, launched on Zalando in 2021.

Because of their legacy as a brick-and-mortar retailer, their existing warehousing capacity was optimized to replenish shops – not to fulfil customers’ online orders. So, TATUUM was looking for the right partner to support them with their e-commerce logistics – one who could help them expand quickly and support them to meet delivery SLAs and customer convenience expectations.

So, what’s the next?

Ever since their launch on the Zalando platform, TATUUM has applied a mindset of continuous learning. From their point of view, there is always room for improvement and optimisation.

Today, TATUUM is in the process of unlocking ZEOS’ full warehousing network for stock storage. They have recently enabled additional warehouse locations in France, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the Netherlands, and are in the process of unlocking the one in Spain. 

This will allow them to:

  • Reduce lead times for their customers, particularly for those located in far-away markets.

  • Optimise their stock distribution, as ZEOS’ smart algorithms can predict where the next customer is most likely to place their order from, their assortment will be redistributed accordingly.

  • Lower their Time to Online (TTO) for customer returns. Since items don’t have to be transported back to the originating warehouse for storage, they are not losing any time relocating stock.

We strongly recommend Zalando’s Fulfilment solution to brands that want to start their sales on Zalando but do not have a sufficiently prepared logistics background.
