New customers or expanding business
To open an access to Connected Retail to new branches please contact your Sales manager or Partner Consultant who will send you the Carrier factsheet to complete and to return. Should you want to request an in-store collection, please fill out the tabs Factsheet and Store information.
The tab Store information is particularly important to fill out if you want to request a daily pick-up with our courier. Please specify your preferred terms of collection by day and hours, as well as frequency. The tab Level tariffs information will help you choose the time window for your in-store pick-up .
There are two options to fulfil your orders on Connected Retail:
Through our Zalando Fulfilment Contract, fulfilling with our partner bpost. Please reach out to your Connected Retail Sales manager.
If you already have running operations with bpost, you may continue shipping on your own account.
Important
If you already have an active account at bpost you also are eligible to the umbrella contract, and vice versa. As of April 2024, Belgian law obliges online sellers to offer at least 2 delivery options for the products they sell online to be delivered to customers in Belgium. For those partners selling on the Zalando website having their own account with bpost, we require our partners to mandatory offer the two delivery options: delivery to home address and delivery to pick-up points / post offices.
Request in-store collection - FAQs
Who do I register collections with?
After requesting the daily pick up to our Partner Care team through the contact form, the whole opening process takes between 10 and 15 working days.
When are the parcels picked up?
If you've opted into the in-store courier pick-up service, your parcels will be collected at your point(s) of sale at the preferred time established in the Carrier factsheet (see above).
Can I take my parcels to the post office myself?
You may drop off up to 20 parcels at your local bpost office. Look up your nearest bpost location here.
How long does it take to deliver from my store to the end customer?
The 98% of orders fulfilled by bpost are delivered within 24 hours; 100% within 48 hours.
What are the different modes of delivery?
Bpost offers both delivery to a home address, and to pick-up points / post offices - at the end-customer’s discretion. As of April 2024, Belgian law obliges online sellers to offer at least 2 delivery options for the delivery of the products they sell online to be delivered to customers in Belgium.
Can you also deliver abroad?
Currently this option is not available.
