To connect your business to Zalando Connected Retail, you need a contract with DHL for the product DHLFY (DHL for you) as logistics service provider.

Getting started with DHL in Netherlands

To connect your business to Zalando Connected Retail, you need a contract with DHL for the product DHLFY (DHL for you) as logistics service provider. DHL will contact you to discuss the contract details and provide you the contract. The contract must be signed and sent back to DHL. If you already have a contract with DHL, you will receive an amendment to the existing contract.

For both cases, it is necessary to file out the factsheet completely which you will receive from the ZCR Sales colleagues as this is also the application we send to DHL. Please enter all the shops you are planning to connect to Connected Retail.

Main DHL identifiers:

  • API UserID & API Key

API credentials allows ZCR to connect with DHL NL and create the outbound and return labels.

How to generate API-Key → Please click here. Please enter the API credentials in this template and send it to cr-integration@zalando.de.

  • DHL account number

The account number is the identifier for your contract with DHL and included in every outbound and return label. The account number is needed to generate the API Key and API ID.

How long do I have to wait for the account number?

The mentioned identifiers above will be provided by your DHL sales representative, after you have signed the contract or amendment. It will take approximately five working days until you receive those details. Please call the sales representative directly or send them an email, if you don't get any feedback after five days.

Who should I contact if the billing or account numbers /identification numbers are wrong?

Please contact your DHL sales representative, specifically mentioning that you are collaborating with Connected Retail. Your sales representative might have to search the internal DHL intranet to find the needed information.

Request in-store collections

How do I register collections?

Please contact DHL directly - preferably your sales representative. DHL will need an estimation of how many parcels need to be picked up per day.

Can I take my parcels to the post office myself?

In general, parcels can also be taken to the post office - the labels can also be scanned there. This is relevant if the regular collection is not sufficient due to a promotion (e.g. Black Friday).

Can you also deliver abroad?

Currently it’s not possible to deliver abroad.
