Connected Retail Product Safety and Quality Questionnaire

The Product Safety questionnaire must be completed as a mandatory step for all new partners onboarding to the platform.

As a mandatory step of your partner onboarding for new partners, or internationalization and scope revision for existing partners, we ask you to fill out the Product Safety and Quality questionnaire within three business days upon the contract signature.

Why do I need to complete this questionnaire?

Your answers will enable us to assess the safety of the products you want to sell on Zalando against EU legislation and the Zalando Connected Retail Quality Assurance Manual

If any issues are identified, you will receive feedback on compliance gaps along with guidance on required corrective actions to proactively improve safety as the basis for a successful and long lasting partnership.

Please consider that it will take 15- 25 minutes to complete this questionnaire. It's not possible to save an incomplete version, so please make sure you have enough time to finish it. 

The questions will require knowledge on the Product safety and compliance set-up of your company. Therefore we recommend an employee responsible for product compliance to fill out this form.

The Product safety questionnaire is divided into four sections:

  1. General questions about your company contact person and legal EU entity

  2. Questions on general product compliance framework

  3. Specific compliance questions about the commodity groups you will onboard with us

  4. Questions on the supply chain and the compliance management in your company.

After assessing your responses, we will update you about the approval status. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Zalando Product Safety and Quality team through the questionnaire.
