How to read outbound Zalando Return Solutions Pure parcel labels
Learn about the picking and shipping labels on your consolidated return parcels from ZRS Pure.
This article helps you understand the labels on the consolidated return boxes you receive via Zalando Return Solutions (ZRS) Pure. We'll explain the information on both Picking Labels and Shipping Labels for partners with return addresses in Spain (ES) and outside Spain.
Your ZRS Pure labels
ZRS partners receive all your customer-returned articles consolidated and shipped back to you, typically every 7 to 12 days (depending on your contract).
For return addresses in Spain
For return addresses in Spain, each box will have two labels: the Picking Label and the Shipping Label
The picking label
This label is used during the sorting process in the Zalando return centre. It contains:
Partner name: This is the name associated with the articles (can be the store name, brand or business entity).
Internal Zalando barcode: This is for internal Zalando processing and requires no action from you.
Zalando Parcel ID: This is the unique box identifier. You’ll find this code in your ZRS Pure Returned Items Report.

The shipping label
The Shipping Label is created when the parcel is ready to be sent from the Zalando return centre to your return address. The format of the label depends on your return address location.
If your return address is in Spain, the shipping label will follow this format:

If your return address is outside of Spain, the shipping label will follow this format:

Both Spanish and non-Spanish labels include:
Address of the sender: This is the address where the parcel is shipped from (the ZRS Processing Site/Return Centre).
Address of the recipient: This is your return address, as specified in your zDirect onboarding: Account setup. Please ensure this address is up-to-date and accurate to avoid misrouting parcels.
Parcel tracking ID (Pedido/REF): This is the reference number you can use to track your parcel.
Weight (Peso): This is the weight of the parcel.
For return addresses outside Spain (Except ES)
For all other markets, each box will have one shipping label:

This label includes:
Address of the sender: The address where the parcel is shipped from (the ZRS Processing site).
