zDirect onboarding: managing your Business Profile on zDirect

Learn how to manage your Business Profile details on zDirect.

What is my Business Profile?

The Business Profile on zDirect gives you an overview of your company profile so you can see the markets where you sell, and your fulfilment options - getting orders to customers - for each, as well as account information.

The Business Profile allows you to manage some of your company and country related details yourself. Please note that you are only able to edit your country related details when your corresponding fulfilment types are already online.

How do I update my information?

You can access your business profile by clicking the the Account Settings icon at the top-right corner of the navigation toolbar.

Only administrators can view or change your details by going to the Account Overview section and clicking on Manage Details.

Changing my company details

Legal Name: Edits to any legal elements - including your company’s registered name as shown on your Zalando contract - cannot currently be made via zDirect. You will need to contact the Partner Care team with any questions regarding this.

Company Address: Any changes to the address where your company is registered will need to be submitted for approval.

VAT or TAX ID: Updates to this information must also be agreed to by Zalando.

Editing contact details - Partner fulfilment

You can modify the main company contact for your company who will be managing your Zalando account.

Editing contact details - Zalando Fulfillment Solutions

You can add, modify or delete the three types of contact who will be managing your account for ZFS.

  • ZFS Invoices: Contact details for the person managing ZFS invoicing.

  • Operations: Contact details for the person in your company managing your ZFS logistics. If more than one, we suggest creating a mailing list.

  • Commercial: Contact details for the person managing your commercial operations.

You may add more than one person for each category by clicking the Add another contact button under each type. You can add a maximum of three contacts for each. To remove any contacts, just click the delete button.

Modifying bank details

Here, you can edit or modify your account information. Please make sure this is accurate to avoid any penalties. Once you’ve made any changes, these must be sent through to Zalando for approval.

Updating Partner fulfilment and ZFS billing details

On this page you can edit your invoicing preferences such as the billing currency and language. Currently, the Partner Program billing cycle is monthly and ZFS is 20 days.

Changing information about your shop

This section allows you to add or modify your shop name, which is displayed when customers browse your products on Zalando.

Editing warehouse returns information

For self-fulfillment

If you are shipping your own goods to customers, you can amend your warehouse return address.

For ZFS returns

For Partners using ZFS, you can select one of two types of warehouse return addresses: 

  1. Defective Goods

  2. A-Goods Returns (Return to Merchant and Quarantine storage).

Changing carrier details

Please note that carrier details cannot currently be changed using zDirect. You will need to contact Partner Care to do this.

Sending your changes through for approval

When you’ve made any changes, go to the Zalando Approval section and click Send for review:

Good to know

During the approval process, your ability to sell via zDirect and your order fulfilment will not be affected.

Once approved by our internal teams, you’ll receive an email notification and the changes will be applied. The status types you may see, include:

  • APPROVED: Your information has been checked and approved

  • NOT SUBMITTED: You have changed information but not yet sent it to us for review

  • UNDER REVIEW: Your changes are being reviewed by us 

  • REJECTED: Your changes have been rejected - to learn more, go to the Manage Details section and click on Zalando Approval
