Your Business profile on zDirect
Learn how to access and edit your company and country profile details in zDirect.
The Business profile provides an overview of your company, including the markets you sell in, your fulfilment options, and account information. It allows you to self-manage some of your company and country details.
Access and roles
You can access your Business profile by clicking the Account settings icon (a gear icon) at the top right of the navigation toolbar.

You'll need the Administrator role to access and change details. Managers/Supervisors can only view basic information.
If you manage multiple brands, you’ll have a unique Business profile for each one, visible via the Shop selector.

Business profile dashboard and overview
The dashboard will give you a complete overview of your account status:
Sales channel overview: Check your active markets (countries where you’re currently selling/live) and onboarding markets (countries you’re expanding into). It displays the country, current status, and chosen fulfilment type (self-fulfilment or Zalando Fulfilment Solutions (ZFS)).
Account overview: View your account details, including your account status (active, offline, or deactivated) and account details (the approval status of your profile information).
Size charts library: You can add, view and manage all the charts you’re using for your articles.
Fees overview: Click Manage to view your current period timeline, participation status, the option to change the participation in the upcoming period, and your current standard and reduced Marketplace Service Fee tables.
Tax information (DAC7): Download the tax information that we’ve filed to the tax authorities.

Update Company and Country profile details
To start the editing process, click Manage details in the Account overview section.

Company profile
Changes you make to your Company profile information will apply to all merchants and markets under that legal entity.
Contact details

Self-fulfilment: You can edit the main company contact who manages your Zalando account.

Zalando Fulfilment Solutions (ZFS): You can add, edit, or delete up to three contacts for ZFS invoices, Operations (managing logistics issues), and Commercial (managing commercial discussions).

Billing and bank details

Important
Accuracy is crucial to avoid penalties, and changes must be sent to us for approval.
Billing mode: Edit payment preferences such as billing currency and invoice language. The Partner Program billing cycle is monthly, and the ZFS billing cycle is 20 days.
Bank details: Edit your bank account information, such as the IBAN, bank name, and account holder name.

Shop details

Edit your shop name, which customers see on Zalando when they browse your products.

Fulfilment details

Self-fulfilment: Edit your warehouse return address for stock returns.

ZFS: If you use ZFS, you can select warehouse return addresses for defective goods and A-Goods returns (Return to Merchant (RtM) and quarantine storage).

Good to know
Changes to a ZFS return address take, on average, 15 days to update. You'll need to keep the old address operative for at least two weeks after the update.
VAT registration (EU)

Important
To avoid incorrect payment of taxes, please inform us at the earliest if you wish to make changes to your fixed establishment or outbound warehouse information.
VAT/One Stop Shop (OSS) status: Edit details regarding your VAT group status or OSS registration status change.
VAT ID (OSS): Edit OSS VAT ID along with supporting proof of OSS registration.

Fixed establishment (UK)

If you have a fixed establishment in the UK, you can edit the company's legal address in the UK.
Tax ID number

If you are not a sole proprietor, you can add additional local EU tax IDs.

Fulfilment (ZFS)

Edit VAT IDs of the countries of your ZFS warehouses.
Important
Please note these details must be sent for review again and will only take effect after approval.

Manufacturer

You can edit, add new or delete manufacturer contact details.

Outbound warehouse
Click to expand
You can update your outbound warehouse information.
Country profile
If applicable, edit country-specific details for markets where fulfilment types are already online. If you urgently need to modify your Country profile before the new fulfilment type is configured, please submit a request via the support form.
Contact details

Add, edit, or delete up to three contacts for Customer service, Customer escalation, and Partner Program invoices.

Fulfilment (self-fulfilment)

Edit country-specific returns warehouse address.

Outbound carrier details

Edit your shipment carrier and the delivery methods you offer for the selected country.

Compliance details (VAT)

If you sell outside the EU or don’t have the EU OSS registration, you’ll see this section. Edit VAT ID for the selected country.

Important
Please note these details must be sent for review again and will only take effect after approval.
Submit your updates for approval
After making changes, you must send them for review. Go to the Zalando approval section and click Send for review.

Once the changes are approved by our internal teams, you’ll receive an email notification and the changes will be applied.
Good to know
During the approval process, your ability to sell via zDirect and your order fulfilment will not be affected. The review process can take up to two weeks.
Other status types you may see include:
Status | What it means |
|---|---|
APPROVED | We've checked and approved your information. |
NOT SUBMITTED | You've changed information but haven't sent it to us for review yet. |
IN REVIEW | We're currently reviewing your changes. |
REJECTED | Your changes have been rejected. Go to Manage details and click on the Approval page to find out why. |
Important
For changes related to Fixed establishment or Outbound warehouse information, it is important to notify Zalando as early as possible to prevent incorrect payment of taxes.
If data is provided by the 15th of the month (and approved), the changes become live from the 1st of the next month.
If provided after the 15th of the month (and approved), the new data becomes live from the 1st of the month after next.
