Introduction to Zalando Return Solutions (ZRS)

Zalando Return Solutions (ZRS) is our return service for Zalando’s Partner Program partners. We handle your returns, while you benefit from reduced costs and your customers enjoy a frictionless shopping experience.

What is Zalando Return Solutions (ZRS)?

Zalando Return Solutions (ZRS) is our return service for Zalando’s Partner Program partners. We handle your returns, while you benefit from reduced costs and your customers enjoy a frictionless shopping experience. We offer two distinct services: ZRS Plus and ZRS Pure. Integration with both services is possible via Tradebyte, ChannelAdvisor and for partners who have already integrated via zDirect API integration. (Please note that zDirect API integration is not available to new partners.)

ZRS Plus is currently enabled via Tradebyte, ChannelAdvisor and for partners who have already integrated via zDirect API integration. Expansion into new markets via other approved integrators is possible, but might affect the time to go live. Please reach out to logisticssolutions@zalando.de if you have any questions about approved integrators.

Important

It’s not possible to use either ZRS Plus or ZRS Pure alongside your own return handling in the same market.

How it works in three simple steps:

ZRS Plus:

  1. The customer can return your articles, together with other Zalando articles in one single box.

  2. All returned articles are sent to one of Zalando’s return centres, where articles are received, inspected, and the customer reimbursement is triggered. They are then forwarded to a Zalando fulfilment centre.

  3. Once the articles have arrived at one of our fulfilment centres, they are available online for resale. They remain stored here until the next outbound order, which will be fulfilled by Zalando.

ZRS Plus is currently available to all partners in 14 markets: DE, AT, FR, BE, NL, LU, IT, ES, SE, FI, DK, PL, CZ, IE

ZRS Pure:

  1. The customer can return your articles together with other Zalando articles in one single box.

  2. All returned articles are sent to one of Zalando’s return centres, where articles are received, inspected, and the customer reimbursement is triggered.

  3. We consolidate the received returns and send them to your warehouse.

ZRS Pure is currently available in Spain, Denmark, Sweden and Finland to partners using self-fulfilment and/or ZSS.
