Image requirements for Electronics

For full image requirements, please refer to the general Zalando image guidelines:

Number of images required

The table below shows the number of which types of images are needed for onboarding articles in the Electronic assortment. For your information, simply duplicating images to meet the requirements is not allowed and would lead to an article rejection.

Photographing Electronics

The use of packshot images allows a detailed look at the function and style of the item. Using more than the required images for each article allows the customer to appreciate every angle and enhances the storytelling.

  • For the primary packshot, centre the article vertically and position it in the lower third of the image grid. Please find supporting guidance in this section of the Zalando image guidelines

  • Ensure lighting is balanced, avoid overexposure for a crisp and clear presentation

  • Display all Electronics and the belonging items as clearly as possible in packshots, ensuring any extended features are visible

  • Images with fading out or cut cables are only allowed as additional views for all Electronics, except for Beauty electronics where they are allowed

Electronics model appearance

When showcasing  Electronics articles on models, the quality and function of each article should be highlighted to enhance its appeal. Neutral settings help maintain focus on the electronic devices, and thoughtful positioning ensures that every item's unique features are visible.

  • Make sure that the entire length or size of the article is visible in the model views and that the function of the electronic device is displayed accordingly

  • It is recommended to show the device in action instead of just presenting it. This gives the customer the opportunity to see it in use
