Image requirements for Accessories
This guide only covers the image requirements for Accessories articles. You can find more information about what kind of article fits into the Accessories assortment category here.
For full image requirements, please refer to the general Zalando image guidelines.
Number of images required
The table below shows the number of which types of images are needed for onboarding articles in the Accessories assortment. Simply duplicating images to meet the requirements is not allowed and would lead to an article rejection.
Photographing Accessories
The use of packshot images allows a detailed look at the function and style of the item. Using more than the required images for each article allows the customer to appreciate every angle and enhances the storytelling.
For the primary packshot, centre the article vertically and position it in the lower third of the image grid. Please find supporting guidance in this section of the Zalando image guidelines.
Ensure lighting is balanced, avoid overexposure for a crisp and clear presentation.
Prepare articles by steaming or ironing to remove wrinkles, dust, and fluff.
Display all Accessories as clearly as possible in packshots, ensuring any extended features are visible.
For hats and caps: maintain angle and symmetry, avoid cropping the inside, and highlight reversible articles.
For beanies and ear warmers, ensure symmetrical shots and highlight details such as fasteners and prints.
Illustrate the use of fasteners and highlight applications or prints on articles.
Accessories model's appearance
In showcasing accessories on models, the quality and style of each piece should be highlighted to enhance its appeal. Neutral settings help maintain focus on the accessories, and thoughtful positioning ensures that every item's unique features are visible. Models should display the accessories in ways that demonstrate their fit, versatility, and design intricacies.
Ensure that full length or size of the article is shown in Model views, emphasising how accessories complement the outfit.
Use symmetry and angles to enhance the visual appeal of each accessory on the model.
