Accessories image guide

This guide outlines visual recommendations for your article images across key categories, including bags, jewellery, watches and headwear. Following these guidelines speeds up your article onboarding, improves customer experience and showcases your collection effectively. 

For your primary packshot, centre the article vertically and position it in the lower third of the image grid. For detailed technical specifications and grid layouts, read our general Zalando image guidelines.

  Learn our technical requirements, acceptable image types, category-specific standards and AI content generation rules to get your articles approved quickly.

• Straps and handles: Point short handles up. Roll long shoulder straps neatly on the left side or lay them flat. Don't let straps cover brand logos or the front of the bag. 

• Structure and angles: Fill bags to display their shape and volume. For side and back views, position the bag at a 45° angle to show depth. 

• Details and texture: Clearly show key details like engravings and fasteners. Ensure finishes (such as matte or shiny) are easy to see. 

• Packaging: You may include branded packaging, like jewellery boxes, in packshots or additional views. 

• CE label: Show the CE label on battery-operated watches or their packaging in at least one image. This requirement does not apply to automatic watches.

• Headwear: Shoot caps at an angle to highlight the visor. Shoot beanies and hats straight on from the front. 

• Tech accessories: If you show functional items like phone cases with third-party devices, state "decoration not included". 

Your view choices depend on your article setup and our assortment guidelines: 

• Sets: The catalogue view must show all included pieces together in one image. 

• Multipacks: The catalogue view must be a primary packshot showing all items and colours in the pack. 

Model images help customers understand the scale, fit and versatility of your articles. Keep the following standards in mind:

• Highlight the quality and style of your accessories.

• Use poses that show the fit, versatility and design details. 

• Ensure fabric and material textures are clear in detail shots.

• Show the full length and size of the article in model views to convey true proportions. 

• Demonstrate how the article complements an entire outfit. 

• You can crop the model's body, but the article must be recognisable.
