Is it easy to create a Brand Home?
Creating Brand Homes is simple, though the initial setup may take time. However, preparing your assets in advance and following our guidelines will save you time. After the initial setup, updating and adding new content to your Brand Homes is easy.
What elements does a Brand Home consist of?
A Brand Home page includes a header with an image and copy introducing your brand, a Follow button, navigation with category links to your assortment, and can feature 1 to 20 Collections and/or Brand Stories.

What are the minimum requirements for building a Brand Home?
Before your Brand Home goes live, you must create and publish a Brand Home header and at least one Collection or Brand Story for each applicable gender and market. However, for a better customer experience, we recommend creating at least two Collections and/or Brand Stories in addition to the Brand Home header.
How often should a Brand Home be updated?
Regularly updating your Brand Home content helps encourage repeated visits from existing customers and attracts new ones. While updating content at least once a season is a minimum requirement, we recommend to frequently refresh your content in order to reflect your latest brand campaigns and stories.
How long does it take Zalando to review content?
The approval time varies depending on the content type. Some content is auto-approved, while others may take up to 5 business days for review. Learn more about our review process and lead times by reading the article below.
How can customers discover my Brand Home?
When customers search for your brand name, we automatically direct them to the relevant Brand Home based on their fashion preference (Women, Men, Kids). We may also display your Brand Home Collections to your followers when they browse the Homepage and send them email or app notifications.
Is it possible to get support with creating Brand Homes?
We don't offer one-on-one support. However, we have many helpful training materials available, such as video tutorials and best practices. If you have questions, our product support team can help.
How can I find my Brand Home on Zalando?
Start from the relevant gender category page on Zalando.
Next, use your brand name as a keyword in the search bar.
Select the correct gender category. This is crucial to ensure you are directed to your Brand Home page and not a catalogue page.
Is it possible to preview the Brand Homes before publication?
At the moment, it is not possible to preview the Brand Home page in the Brand Homes content management system (CMS). You can, however, preview the Collection teaser with header and product carousel.

How do followers receive Brand Homes notifications about Collections?
Your brand followers will receive a notification about your published Collection. The following specifications and conditions for notifications apply:
The Collection matches the follower's preferences (e.g. gender and market).
Women will not be notified about a Collection published for men.
German followers will not be notified when a Collection is published in Spain.
The Collection is new, i.e. published for the first time, not updated.
A follower will only receive one notification per day, in order to avoid too many notifications.
If a customer follows two brands and both are publishing a new Collection on the same day, they would only be notified about the Collection that is published first.
Where can I find Zalando config. SKUs?
Instead of the 13-digit code European Article Number (EAN) you will need the Zalando config. SKUs for the creation of Collections and Brand Stories. A Zalando config. SKU is a combination of letters and numbers and looks like this: AS141A0TL-I12
Below are specific instructions to assist you in locating your Zalando config. SKUs based on your business model:
Partner Program and Connected Retail
If you are operating on Zalando through the Partner Program and/or Connected Retail, your Zalando config. SKUs can be found within the zDirect tool.
Wholesale
You can find your Zalando config. SKUs within the Performance Insights tool. To gain access to Performance Insights, please send an email to supplier-support@zalando.de. Additionally, you can verify this information with your dedicated Zalando buyer or operations specialist.

What are Category links?
Category links are categories which are displayed in the Brand Homes header and link shoppers to your catalogue. As this is a way for shoppers to see your full assortment, we recommend adding Discover all and New in as the first options, followed by other categories of your choice: Dresses, Jackets, Sale etc.
Can I create Category links if my catalogue is not live yet?
Unfortunately it is not possible to proceed with Brand Homes content creation without having a live catalogue. Please wait until your catalogue is live and complete the process then.
Can I rearrange the order of the Collections and Brand Stories on my Brand Home page?
It is not possible to manually change the order in which Collections or Brand Stories are displayed on your Brand Home page. Zalando uses an algorithm to determine the order based on the expected shopping preferences of each individual customer. The goal is to drive higher conversion rates by showing customers the Collections and Brand Stories that are most likely to interest them.
Therefore, the order in which your Collections and Brand Stories appear on your Brand Home page is automatically generated by Zalando's algorithm.
Account set up and management
How can I create an additional user for the Brand Homes CMS?
Log in to your Brand Homes CMS account.
Click on All Users in the upper-right corner and then on Create New User.
Fill in the first name, last name, and email address of the new user.
Select the relevant business partner from the presented list.
Tick the following boxes on the right side:
User management: The new user will be able to view, create, edit and delete users.
CMS restricted: The new user will be able to view, create, edit and publish Brand Homes content.
Click Save. Once saved, the new user will receive an email containing a link to activate their account.
Important
Shared accounts are not permitted. Therefore, please make sure to create separate user accounts for each individual user.
How to switch between various brand accounts in the Brand Homes CMS?
In order to switch between brand accounts in the Brand Homes CMS, please follow the next steps:
Click on the Business Partner name in the upper-right corner of your screen.
In the search field, type the Business Partner name you'd like to access.
Click on the search result. You will be redirected to the selected brand CMS account.
Before you start working in the selected account, we advise that you refresh your browser to avoid any potential technical difficulties.

To access your Brand Home data and insights follow these steps:
Log in to your Brand Homes CMS account.
Select the right business partner in the upper right corner.
Click on Insights in the upper left corner.
See the performance insights of the selected business partner on the dashboard.
